Larissa Yocom

Larissa is the Director of the UFRI and an Associate Professor in the Department of Wildland Resources at Utah State University. She grew up in Washington and earned a PhD at Northern Arizona University. Her research interests include the ecological role of fire; how climate, fire, and vegetation influence one another over time and space; and how forest management can promote the beneficial aspects of fire while minimizing the negative consequences.
