Shannon Courtney
Graduate Student | USU Department of Environment and Society
Shannon is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Environment and Society at Utah State University. Her research focuses on wildfire social science, with an emphasis on community-fire interactions, fire operations, and public policy. As a former wildland firefighter, Shannon is excited to bridge science and practice through both her research at Utah State and her role on the Restoring the West organizing committee.
