Justin DeRose
Associate Professor | USU Department of Wildland Resources
Justin is an Associate Professor of Silviculture and Applied Forest Ecology, and the T.W. Daniel Endowed Professor of Forestry at Utah State University. He is formally trained as a Forester and enjoys interacting with undergraduate and graduate students, as well as research staff who are engaged in forestry education and research, to better understand and manage forested systems. Justin’s research program has primary foci in silviculture, climate change adaptation, and the disturbance ecology of western forest ecosystems, with a strong predilection for dendrochronological approaches.
